The Father Almighty, (Matthew 6: 9, Malachi 2:10, 2 Corinthians 6:18; Genesis 35:11)

Creator of heaven and earth, (Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 44:24, Revelation 4:11)

of all things visible and invisible. (Colossians 1:16, Hebrews 11:3)

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, (1 Corinthians 8:6, 2 Corinthians 1:3, Ephesians 4:5)

the Only Begotten Son of God, (John 3:16, John 1:18)

Begotten of the Father before all ages. (Colossians 1:15, 1:17, John 1:1-2, Revelation 1:8)

Light from Light, (John 1:4-5, 1:9, 8:12, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Hebrews 1:3)

True God from true God, (John 1: 1-2, 1 John 5:20)

Begotten, not made, (John 1:14, Hebrews 1:5)

Of one essence with the Father; (John 10: 30, 1 John 1:5, John 8:12, Colossians 2:9)

Through whom all things were made. (John 1: 1-3, 10, 14, Colossians 1:15-17, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Romans 11:36, Hebrews 1:10)

Who for us men and for our salvation (Matthew 1:21, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, Colossians 1:13-14, 1Timothy 2:4-5, Acts 4:12)

Came down from heaven, (John 3:13, 3:31, 6: 33, 35, 38, 6:51)

And was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and of the Virgin Mary, (Luke 1:27, 34-35, Matthew 1:18, Romans 1:3)

and became man. (John 1:14, Hebrews 2:14, Philippians 2:6,7)

Crucified for us under Pontius Pilate, He suffered and was buried,(1 Peter 2:24, 1 Corinthians 15:3, Acts 2:36, Mark

15:15, Matthew 27:2,26, Mark 8:31, Matthew 16:21, Matthew 27:59-60, Mark 15:46)

Rising on the third day (Mark 9:31, 16:9, Acts 10:40, Luke 24:5-7, 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4)

In accordance with the Scriptures. (Luke 24:45-46, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)

He ascended into heaven (Luke 24:51, Acts 1:9)

and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Mark 16:19, Luke 22:69, 1Peter 3:21-22)

He will come again in glory (Mark 13:26, Matthew 24:27, John 14:3, 1 Thessalonians

4:17, Acts 1:10-11, Revelation 1:7)

to judge the living and the dead (Matthew 16:27, 2 Corinthians 5:10, 2 Timothy 4:1,

1 Peter 4:5, John 5:22, Acts 10:42)

and his kingdom will have no end. (Luke 1:33, Hebrews 1:8, 2 Peter 1:11)

And in the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, John 14: 17, 26),

The Lord and the giver of life, (Acts 5: 3-5, 2 Corinthians 3:17, John 6:63, 2 Corinthians 3:6)

Who proceeds from the Father (John 15:26)

Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, (Matthew 3: 16-17, Matthew 28: 19, 2 Corinthians 3:8)

Who spoke through the prophets. (1 Peter 1:10-11, Ephesians 3:5, 1Samuel 19:20, Ezekiel 11: 5,13)

And in one holy, catholic and apostolic Church (Ephesians 4:4, Matthew 16:15, Ephesians 1:4, 5:27, 1Peter 2:5,9, Matthew 28:19, Acts 1:8, Mark 16:15, Acts 2:42, Ephesians 2:20, Matthew 16:18, Romans 12:4-5, 1 Corinthians 10:17, Colossians 1:18, 1 Timothy 3:15, Hebrews 12:23).

I acknowledge one baptism for the remission of sins  (Ephesians 4:5, Galatians 3:27, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Matthew

28: 18,19, Colossians 2:12-13, Acts 22:16, Acts 2:38, Romans 6: 3,4 and 1Peter 3:21)

I look forward to the resurrection of the dead (Romans 6:4-5, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, John 11:24, 1 Corinthians 15: 12-49 )

and the life of the age to come (2 Peter 3:13, Mark 10: 29-30, Revelation 21:1, John 3:16).
